Much of the news about Israel and Palestine involves the conflicts and violence that occur on almost a daily basis. There are often attacks and skirmishes between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians. This violence stems from many issues, but is mainly a fight for the land and the sovereignty of their home. Israel and PAlestine have been in conflicts with each other since the very creation of Israel. The conflict has become one long cycle of retaliation, in which one side provokes the other into violence and then they retaliate back. Violence and conflict permeate the lives of the people in Israel and PAlestine.
Also, since the Hamas has come to power in Palestine there have been increasing clashes between members of Hamas and Fatah the two leading political groups in Palestine. Conflicts between these groups over political ideaologies have led to an increase in violence in the region. For the violence to end, Palestine now must bring an end to it's internal conflicts as well as the conflicts with Israel.
